Debbie Street - Piano, Keyboards, Guitar and Vocals
Debbie sang in her
crib before she could talk, and performed for her friends before she
could walk. By 9th grade, she was playing guitar and piano,
and at 20-years-old, she made a living playing with bands in clubs around Grand
Rapids who opened for the likes of Eddie Money, Santana and Head East. After
playing as a solo in Los Angeles, she became a member of the infamous Golden
Garter Revue in 1983, and then spent the next 20 years playing in a group with
other Garter alumna. “I get the biggest thrills from vocals, the
more the better. And I love writing and arranging music and vocals.” says
Debbie. “I think guitar players have all the fun, and the rest
of us are just happy to be near them.”
